The Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) is funded by the ACT government to provide free, independent, expert advice on how to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

Whether you own or rent, HEAT can suggest ways to make your home more comfortable whilst saving money, energy and the environment and you may be eligible for a $500 rebate*.

Have you received an unsolicited call for a free home energy audit?



The ACT Government and the Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) which is contracted by the ACT Government to provide home energy audits, does not make unsolicited telephone calls or door knocks to offer appointments for free home energy audits.

HEAT only telephones a resident about the ACT Energy Wise audit after the resident has contacted HEAT requesting the service.
