HEAT only telephones a resident about the ACT Energy Wise audit after the resident has contacted HEAT requesting the service.

In telephone contact or face to face contact, Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) staff/auditors will always identify themselves as the Home Energy Advice Team offering the ACT Government’s ACT Energy Wise audit. They will always have photo identification.

Unsolicited calls or door knocks offering free home energy audits may be associated with organisations involved with the Australian Government’s Home Sustainability Assessment and Green Loans program.

The ACT Government and the Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) which is contracted by the ACT Government to provide home energy audits, does not make unsolicited telephone calls or door knocks to offer free ceiling insulation.

Unsolicited calls or door knocks offering free ceiling insulation may be associated with organisations involved with the Australian Government’s Energy Efficient Homes Package Home Insulation Program.
